The Ministry of Social and Family Development has announced that it is moving forward with the development of a National Therapy Protocol. This initiative, part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to enhance care services, aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of therapy for persons with disabilities and children.

According to the ministry, significant progress has been made in the preparation of the protocol. The Ministry of Health is spearheading the formulation process with the goal of establishing comprehensive guidelines to elevate the standards of therapy services across the country.

The initiative is focused on ensuring that individuals with disabilities and children receive the highest quality of care and support. The development process includes a series of workshops designed to refine and evaluate the proposed guidelines. A workshop was held in Thulusdhoo from May 31 to June 1, and a peer review workshop took place in Male' City on May 1 to assess the guidelines' effectiveness.
