Tottenham Hotspur secured a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace in the English Premier League on Sunday, recording their third consecutive win.

Crystal Palace forward Jean-Philippe Mateta was shown a straight red card in the first half of the match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Mateta was sent off in the 13th minute for a dangerous foul on Van de Ven. Tottenham took advantage and opened the scoring in the 24th minute when Archie Gray headed the ball into the net from a corner delivered by Mohamed Kudus.

Jean-Paul van Hecke scored Tottenham's second goal in the 73rd minute to seal the 2-0 victory.

The win marks a significant turnaround for Tottenham, who had made a slow start to the season.
