Fenaka Corporation has commenced the installation of a new 1,200-kilowatt generator set (genset) in Fuvahmulah, aiming to address the city's ongoing power challenges. The installation work began last night as part of Fenaka's initiative to enhance the region's power infrastructure.

The arrival of the 1,200-kilowatt genset follows a planned process that began on May 27, when Fenaka initiated the transfer of the equipment to Fuvahmulah. The new genset is expected to provide a robust and reliable solution to the city's power issues, marking a significant step towards stabilizing the local power supply.

Fenaka Corporation has stated that this new generator will offer a long-term resolution to the frequent power outages and supply problems that Fuvahmulah has experienced. The installation is part of Fenaka’s broader efforts to improve energy reliability across the Maldives, ensuring consistent power availability for both residential and commercial needs.
