Faafu Atoll, Maldives – The much-anticipated group stage match between the 2023 champions Magoodhoo and the 2024 champions Biledhdhoo in the Golden Futsal Tournament ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw last night. The intense showdown, dubbed the 'Clash of the Champions,' kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

Biledhdhoo struck first, with Mohamed Zeedan Zuhury scoring in the 5th minute of the first half. Magoodhoo responded in the 11th minute when Aliyan's powerful shot led to Assadh equalizing the score. Magoodhoo took the lead for the first time in the 14th minute, thanks to a goal by Ammar. However, Biledhdhoo missed a golden opportunity to level the score just before halftime when Nadheef failed to convert an open goal chance.

The second half saw Biledhdhoo bounce back, with Rimaan scoring from a counter-attack in the 3rd minute to equalize. Two minutes later, Zeedan's low, long-range shot gave Biledhdhoo the lead once again.
