In the HDh. Atoll Group A of the Golden Futsal Tournament, Nolhivaranfaru and Naivaadhoo have taken significant steps toward securing semi-final spots with impressive victories.

Group A Highlights

Nolhivaranfaru secured a 3-0 win in their latest match, moving closer to the semi-finals. After a goalless first half, Mohamed Faruhaan opened the scoring in the 2nd minute of the second half. Captain Mohamed Wilf added another goal three minutes later, and Faruhaan sealed the victory with his second goal.

With this win, Nolhivaranfaru remains unbeaten, leading Group A with 6 points. Makunudhoo trails in second place with 4 points.

Group B Highlights

In Group B, Naivaadhoo delivered a dominant 5-1 victory over Nolhivaran, propelling them to the top of the group. Ismail Waheed scored twice, while Abdullah Shafiu, Ahmed Hameed, and Abdullah Wishaam each contributed a goal. Nolhivaran’s lone goal came from Shafiu Mohamed.

Kumudhoo holds second place in Group B with 4 points, keeping the competition intense.

Tournament Structure

A total of 10 teams from HDh. Atoll are competing in the tournament, divided into two groups. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, setting the stage for an exciting conclusion to the atoll round.
