Barcelona delivered a spectacular performance last night, defeating Valencia 7-1 at Camp Nou in La Liga. The victory marked their first league win in five matches, propelling them to 3rd place in the table with 42 points.

The match started with a bang as Frenkie de Jong, starting in place of the injured Pedri, scored in the 3rd minute. Ferran Torres doubled the lead in the 8th minute, followed by a goal from Raphinha in the 14th minute—his 12th league goal this season. Before the halftime whistle, Fermin Lopez netted twice, ending the first half with an emphatic 5-0 score line.

Valencia managed to pull one back in the 59th minute through Hugo Duro. However, substitute Robert Lewandowski, who was rested initially, made an immediate impact by scoring just five minutes later. Barcelona sealed their win with an own goal from a Valencia defender.

Under the leadership of Hansi Flick, Barcelona’s attack has been unstoppable, with the team now boasting 101 goals this season.

The victory puts Barcelona back on track in the league standings, with Atletico Madrid in 2nd place and Real Madrid leading at the top.
