Island Aviation Seeks General Cargo Sales Agents to Boost Operations in China

Malé, Maldives – Island Aviation, the operator of Maldivian Airlines, has announced its search for General Cargo Sales Agents (GSAs) to support its expansion into the Chinese market. The airline is specifically seeking GSAs for Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Beijing as it ramps up efforts to promote the Maldives as a top travel destination. These agents will work closely with local partners to drive marketing campaigns and strengthen the airline's presence in China.
The contracts for the GSAs will span three years, with interested parties required to submit their Expressions of Interest (EOI) by the 19th of this month.
In line with its growth strategy, Island Aviation will also enhance its fleet with the acquisition of a new Airbus A330-200. The aircraft, set to arrive in the first quarter of next year, will feature seating configurations for business class, premium economy, and economy, accommodating up to 264 passengers. This addition marks a major upgrade for Maldivian Airlines, further enhancing connectivity for international travelers.
