Bank of Maldives (BML) has expanded its banking services with the opening of a new self-service ATM centre in K. Gaafaru, Kaafu Atoll. This move is in line with the manifesto of President Dr Mohammed Muizzu, in order to provide banking services closer to the people.

The new ATM centre will provide 24/7 access for individuals and businesses to withdraw, deposit, and transfer money.

BML’s Deputy CEO and Interim In-Charge, Aishath Noordeen, highlighted that the centre in Gaafaru is a reflection of the bank’s commitment to meeting the banking needs of its customers in both urban and remote areas.

With the addition of this new facility, Kaafu Atoll now boasts two BML branches in Kaashidhoo and Maafushi, along with six additional self-service banking centres across inhabited islands.

BML operates a nationwide network of 39 branches, 89 self-service centres, 144 ATMs, and a comprehensive suite of digital banking services, reinforcing its pledge to support the financial needs of individuals, businesses, and communities across the Maldives.
