VP Emphasizes President’s Commitment to Human Resource Development

Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef highlighted President Dr Mohammed Muizzu's dedication to enhancing human resources within state and government agencies during the official launch of the Maldives Leadership Program's second batch of training sessions.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice President Latheef underscored the importance of cultivating future-ready leaders who are adaptable to global changes. He emphasized the need for leaders equipped with relevant skills who can drive radical changes and serve as change agents within the government.

He had also said that the President is deeply committed to building a cadre of leaders who can navigate and lead through evolving global landscapes. In addition to this, he revealed that the government's goal is to develop leaders who will bring about transformative changes and effectively contribute to the success of the government.

The Maldives Executive Leadership Program, which commenced with a two-day workshop, focuses on strategic leadership and policy decision-making. The sessions will cover two of the five modules included in the program. Additionally, part of the program will take place in the UAE, where participants will visit designated government agencies to gain insights into reform and modernization efforts implemented by local authorities.
