Ooredoo Becomes Platinum Partner of the Golden Futsal Challenge

Ooredoo Maldives has once again committed its support to the Golden Futsal Challenge by signing as the Platinum Partner for this year's edition of the tournament. This marks the third consecutive year that Ooredoo has participated as a Platinum Partner, further solidifying its ongoing commitment to sports development in the Maldives.

The Golden Futsal Challenge officially kicked off last night, starting with a Charity Shield match between the 2023 champions L. Gan and the 2024 champions B. Eydhafushi. The tournament has attracted an impressive 130 teams from across the Maldives, and a total of 320 matches are scheduled to take place over the coming weeks. The tournament will run until the 25th of February.

First held in 2015, the Golden Futsal Challenge has become one of the most anticipated annual futsal events in the country, providing a platform for youth to showcase their talent and passion for the sport. Ooredoo’s involvement as a Platinum Partner reflects the company’s long-standing dedication to supporting and promoting sports at the grassroots level in the Maldives.
