The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced a significant change to its bus service schedule in Male'. Starting from Tuesday, eight key bus routes will commence operations at 05:00 AM, an hour earlier than the previous start time of 06:00 AM.

The adjusted routes include:

- R2

- R6

- R7

- R8

- R10

- R11

- R12

These routes cover several important areas such as the Orchid Route, Ameenee Route, Sosun Route, West Park, Carnival area, and routes extending to Hulhumale'. This change comes in response to customer feedback and aims to better serve early commuters.

MTCC, which operates the Raajje Transport Link (RTL) Male' bus service, has recently introduced 36 new minibuses to its fleet. Of these, 12 buses will operate within Male'. Each mini bus is equipped with a capacity of 20 passengers and features wheelchair access, enhancing accessibility and convenience for all users.
