The Ministry of Education has dismissed recent social media rumors about a supposed change in the awards for O-Level top 10 students, clarifying that the reported alteration is false.
Social media reports had circulated claiming that a new policy would recognize only the top students, sparking widespread concern and debate among students, teachers, and parents. The rumors suggested that students who had worked hard to achieve a position in the top 10 would no longer receive awards, leading to fears of diminished recognition for their efforts and increased pressure on students.
In response to the confusion, the Ministry of Education has confirmed that there is no change to the awards policy. The ministry stated that, in line with their established policy, all students who achieve a spot in the top 10 will continue to be honored for their academic success.
The Ministry reassured the public that the awards system remains unchanged, aiming to celebrate the accomplishments of all top-performing students and acknowledging their hard work and dedication.
