Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) has officially signed an agreement to provide design services for the Maldives Hajj Corporation’s Naim Residence Project. The agreement was executed on Tuesday by FDC’s Managing Director Hamdan Shakeel and Hajj Corporation’s Managing Director Mohamed Shakeel.

As part of the agreement, FDC will deliver architectural and engineering services, along with design and consultancy support for the Naim Residence Project. The corporation has indicated that it is already engaged in similar services under Memorandums of Understanding with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Maldive Gas.

This partnership is part of FDC’s broader strategy to diversify its revenue streams following a mandate shift announced during its fifth anniversary celebrations in May. The corporation aims to implement various initiatives that will enhance opportunities within the housing sector and drive profitability.

FDC remains focused on its flagship project: the development of 4,000 housing units in Hulhumale’ Phase II under the ‘Gedhoruveriya’ social housing scheme. The successful execution of these initiatives is expected to position FDC as a significant player in the housing market, furthering its goal of becoming a profitable entity.
