A worker involved in the Thilamale’ Bridge Project has tragically died after sustaining injuries. The individual was an employee of India's Afcons, the contractor responsible for the bridge construction connecting Male’ and Vilimale’.

According to police, they received a report early Tuesday morning about an injured person being transported to Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH). Upon arrival, hospital staff confirmed that the individual was already deceased.
