Iran has launched dozens of ballistic missiles targeting key military and security sites in Israel, claiming it is in retaliation for the mass killings in Gaza and Lebanon, as well as the deaths of leaders from Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The IRGC has warned that Israel will face "crushing" attacks if it retaliates.

Earlier, Israel reported that its forces carried out a "limited" raid in southern Lebanon, though Hezbollah denied any incursion into Lebanese territory. Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati has expressed concern, stating that the country is facing "one of the most dangerous phases in its history."

Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes continue across the Gaza Strip, killing at least 29 Palestinians. Since the beginning of Israeli attacks in October, over 41,600 people in Gaza have been killed, and nearly 96,500 have been injured. On the Israeli side, more than 1,100 people were killed in the Hamas-led assault on October 7, with over 200 people taken captive. The conflict shows no signs of de-escalation.
