A teenage motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a man standing beside a three-wheel truck in GDh. Nadella early Sunday, injuring three people. The accident, reported to police around 12:05 AM, involved two 18-year-olds on the motorcycle and a 47-year-old man who was struck.

According to the police, the two teenagers sustained injuries, as did the pedestrian. All three were initially treated at the Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital in GDh. Thinadhoo. The motorcycle driver and the pedestrian were later transferred to Male’ City for further treatment at ADK Hospital.

The police confirmed that the teenage driver was unlicensed but have not released further details regarding the severity of the injuries.

The incident is under ongoing investigation.
