A large fire broke out at a building on Amini Road, which is jointly managed by the Housing Ministry and the Infrastructure Ministry, leaving the structure severely damaged and sending thick smoke billowing into the surrounding areas.

The smoke was reportedly visible as far as Hulhumale’, heightening concerns among residents and authorities alike.

Fire and Rescue is currently attending the scene.
