A fire broke out at Henveru Dhoohimerige near Gaamagu Cafe', causing widespread smoke to envelop the surrounding area.

A woman had also gotten injured during this fire. However, there is no known detail of her injuries.

She has now been taken to receive treatment.

According to reports, the large blaze has resulted in thick smoke covering Sosun Magu. According to MNDF media personnel, the cause of the fire remains unconfirmed as investigations are still underway.

The Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) and fire and rescue services are actively working to control the situation and extinguish the flames. Emergency personnel are on-site, managing the scene and ensuring public safety.
