A fire has erupted on the third floor of the Ma. Oliveena building on Chandhenee Magu, according to reports. Smoke was seen billowing from the building, sparking concerns among local residents.

Lieutenant Colonel Hussain Rasheed, media official from the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) confirmed the incident but noted that the cause and severity of the fire are still under investigation. As of now, there is no confirmed information regarding the cause of the blaze.
