President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has today begun a two-day official visit to South Ari Atoll.

During his visit, the President will travel to the islands of Adh. Dhan'gethi, Adh. Mahibadhoo, and Adh. Omadhoo, where he is scheduled to meet with the Island Councils and Women’s Development Committees of each island.

This visit is part of the President’s ongoing efforts to engage with local councils, a series of consultations that started earlier this year. With this trip, the President will have met with a total of 185 councils across the nation.

The President is accompanied by a senior government delegation on this tour.
