In a poignant ceremony held during this year's National Day function, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu honored the late Hussain Salahuddin with the nation's highest accolade. The ceremony took place this morning at Rannabanderi Malam in Dharubaaruge.
The honor, presented as a shield of excellence, commemorates the late Hussain Salahuddin's substantial contributions to national development and thought. This prestigious award is reserved for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service to the nation, and it is conferred under the authority granted by Section 6 of the Representation of the People Act, 2016.
