President Muizzu Extends Condolences Over Tragic Air Collision in the U.S.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has expressed his deep sorrow and extended condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in a devastating mid-air collision in the United States.
In his message, the President conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and the American people, stating that he received the news of the accident with great sadness.
The tragic incident involved an American Airlines aircraft and a U.S. military Black Hawk helicopter near Washington, D.C. According to U.S. authorities, there were no survivors among the 60 passengers and four crew members aboard the plane, as well as the three soldiers on the helicopter.
This accident marks the deadliest air disaster in the U.S. since 2001. Investigations are underway to determine the cause, and officials have so far recovered one of the two black boxes from the aircraft.
